FOREWORD
The PB-4 is the most versatile of the Nikon bellows focusing attachments. Bellows extension of 43mm to 185mm represents reproduction ratios ranging from 1 : 1.2 to 3.6X when used with the Nikkor Auto 50mm f/2 lens (up to 4.4X with the lens mounted in reverse using the accessory BR-2 macro adapter ring). The lens panel and camera panel move independently, and the dual twin track feature allows the entire assembly to be moved back and forth without disturbing a tripod or copy stand setup. The lens panel swings and shifts for perspective correction or increased depth of field. And the camera body rotates 90° on the camera mount, making possible horizontal or vertical format photos regardless of the camera’s position on the rails.
The tripod head has eight holes spaced around a standard tripod socket for mounting the camera/ bellows assembly securely at right angles to the original or obliquely in any direction on the Nikon Repro-Copy Outfit PF-2. The PB-4 accepts Nikon slide copying adapters PS-4 and PS-S.
