INTRODUCTION

This section of the Service Manual covers the Service Instructions and Parts Catalog for 2¼ x 3¼ Century Graphic Camera.

A. CAMERA BASIC - DISASSEMBLY (Figure 1)

1 . Remove the focusing hood assembly (1) by pressing outward on tabs of two retainers located on the focusing frame complete (2).

NOTE: The hood assembly is assembled with staked hinge pins. It should not be disassembled, but replaced as a unit so trouble-free operation can be maintained.

2. Remove focusing frame complete (2) by simultaneously pressing downward on knurled finger pads and sliding frame to the right, free from two arm hooks. If disassembly of the focusing frame complete is necessary, refer to par. C.

3. Remove handle complete (3).

4. Remove two handle brackets (4), each secured by handle bracket nut (5) and machine screw (6).

5. Remove front standard complete as follows:

a. Extend bellows on bed yoke.

b. Loosen two each machine screws (19 and 24) to within two threads.

c. Press inward on two machine screws (19) and simultaneously slide rear top portion of bellows downward and free from upper bellows retaining plate (15).

d. Press inward on two machine screws (24) and simultaneously slide rear bottom portion of bellows upward and free from lower bellows retaining plate (20).

e. Slide front standard complete (7) from bed yoke.

f. If disassembly of front standard complete is necessary, refer to par. E.

6. Remove two set screws (8) from each case guide.

7. Remove bed complete(9) by removing four machine screws (10), two self tapping screws (11) and disengaging bedbraces from slots of bedbrace plates (12 and 13). If disassemny of bed complete is necessary, refer to par. H... (continued)
