Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Quick-Start Instructions P983A 9/73
This vintage 4 x 6¾ inch instruction sheet contains thirty-three (33) images detailing the operation of the Polaroid SX-70 Land single-lens reflex camera. The manual folds out to 4 x 15½ inches revealing eight panels of step-by-step instructions including an overview of the camera parts, how to open and close the camera, loading film, the proper method to hold the camera, focusing with the split-image rangefinder, exposure control and care and maintenance.
Film for the Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera is still available thanks to the efforts of The Impossible Project, which saved the last Polaroid production plant for integral instant film in Enschede, Netherlands. Available films include the PX 100 Silver Shade Cool, PX 70 Color Shade Cool, and the new PX 70 Color Protection.
These films are also available from ContinentalPhoto.com, in Brooklyn, NY.
